Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to GlamHub Nigeria ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

GlamHub operates as a marketplace connecting grooming service providers ("Partners") with customers seeking grooming services ("Users") in Lagos, Nigeria, and expanding to other cities.

2. Description of Services

GlamHub provides an online platform that enables Users to discover, book, and pay for grooming services including but not limited to haircuts, hairstyling, nail services, spa treatments, and beauty services offered by independent Partners.

We do not provide grooming services ourselves; we facilitate transactions between Users and Partners. GlamHub is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by Partners.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate and complete.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• One account per user; shared accounts are prohibited

4. Bookings and Cancellations

For Customers:

• Bookings are confirmed only upon successful payment or deposit (where applicable)
• Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the appointment receive full refunds
• Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a 50% cancellation fee
• No-shows (failure to appear within 15 minutes of appointment time) forfeit the full payment

For Partners:

• Partners must honor all confirmed bookings or provide 24-hour notice of cancellation
• Repeated cancellations by Partners may result in account suspension
• Partners are responsible for maintaining accurate availability calendars

5. Payments and Fees

All prices are listed in Nigerian Naira (₦) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. GlamHub charges a service fee for each transaction processed through our platform.

Payouts to Partners are processed within 24-48 hours of service completion, minus commission fees. GlamHub reserves the right to hold funds in case of disputes.

6. Prohibited Activities

Users and Partners agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal purposes or violate Nigerian laws
• Harass, abuse, or discriminate against other users or partners
• Circumvent the platform to arrange offline payments (fee avoidance)
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content or reviews
• Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Scrape, crawl, or data-mine the platform without permission

7. Intellectual Property

All content on GlamHub, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of GlamHub Nigeria or its licensors and is protected by Nigerian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GlamHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Services.

We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or suitability of services provided by Partners. Any disputes regarding service quality should be resolved between the User and Partner, though we may mediate in our sole discretion.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through mediation in Lagos State. If mediation fails, disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Lagos under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms on the platform and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
